    Hi all,

Am new here to this board as well as trekking.

I had just completed my first trekking trip up Kunang Panti, a not-so-tall hill near Kota Tinggi. It's a good 3 hours up and 2.5 hours down the summit.

The trek would be a good starter for new trekkers, as it is quite difficult to get lost with all the markers around. Be prepared to walk fast and give the leeches no chance to bite you.

If anyone interested in a short trek, you might want to consider Kunang Panti. Please reply to this thread if you are interested, so that I can give more information.

In the meantime, I would be willing to join a short trek. Keep posting!

Yes. I am interested. When do you intend to go again?

Do you have some pictures to show? More information e.g. how to get there, location map (Google Maps of nearest town/kampong will be nice.

    Hey TonoGam,

Its kinda amazing - so far, in my treks and so many trips to Lumbong (Pelepah) Waterfalls in Kota Tinggi, I know I've gone past the entrance of Gunung Panti so many times, but I've never been there! Haha!

Would you be able to lead us the way up and down on a day trek one weekend?

Also I heard there is no water point for Panti - true?
