Am so greatful I found this site.
I just moved to Taiwan in Sept and had been hoping to explore this beautiful country.
If you have any plans to trek here, do hope you can post it up for my 'serious' consideration.
Definitely do not hope to slow down the team due to my fitness level and a CAT Z age group.

Definitely interested on trekking in Taiwan but the erratic weather is putting me off (sudden typhoons and rain). Hoping to trek Taroko Gorge and Yu Shan. I did seriously consider joining those members on their trip but its kinda rush so i did not.

Unfortunatley I forgotten all about the ING marathon that's going to take place on the 21 Dec which coincide with the itinerary.
I'm hoping to do Xue Shan and Yue Shan before I go back next Jul.

I also looking for trekking buddies for my trip to Taiwan (19Dec to 3Jan)- I'd luv to do Jiaming Lake (3days) and Snow Mountain (3days) - ani day during that period.
Although I backpack alone, for safety and unforseen weather condition, I wanna join the trekking group in Taiwan.
As I dun speak Chinese, it's quite challenging for me to contact the trekking services over there regarding the Permits and available trekking groups despite my effort to contact some such as barkingdeer, freshtreks, 523 mountaineering grp. None of them replies me so far. Haizzz
Would u like to join me or have ani recommendations?
