Mount Kinabalu - Borneo - Sabah

It has been 6 months since I tried climbing Mount Kinabalu. I failed. I only made it to the base camp after 6 hours of gruelling climb, felt like dying and did not attempt the summit... I then realise I was not prepared physically.

Last week, I met up with Kian Ann and asked him if he would like to climb Mount Kinabalu again. And we set to go climb Mt Kinabalu next June so that I have sufficient time to prepare myself physically. We also plan to visit Kinabatangan River where the Probosis Monkey, Orang Utan and Borneo elephants roam.

We already have 3 persons confirmed to go. If you are interested to join us for the trip, please drop us a line in this forum.

Hi guys,
I will be trekking with someone I met on the 'lonely planet' to do the Mt KK trek. Everything is booked, but I have a problem of going to the Mt KK Park after touching down at the airport.
I did a search and know that the transport cost around 20RM and start at 8:00am.But my flight only reach there at 8:00pm in the evening. Can you guys advise if the bus is still available at that hour? Any other information will be very much appreciated.
By the way, Happy New Year!!
