    Hi all,

I and a few friends would be making a trip to Kota tinggi, our target is to explore Pelepah Falls..
We will be not driving. The Pelepah Falls are said to be near the Kota Tinggi falls, not knowing the location exactly, i guess we'll just figure it out over there (if anyone knows, directions wud be good).

Is the Pelepah Falls walkable from the Kota Tinggi falls? or do we need a taxi ride there?

Any comments, help would be really appreciated!
    thanks!

    Dear Shaqstudio ,

Is the Pelepah Falls walkable from the Kota Tinggi falls?

Yes, Sg Pelepah Kiri is just 2-3mins walk from the entrance of lombong falls. Sg Pelepah Kana is from Lombong Waterfalls ( better known as Kota tinggi falls ). You have to negogiate with the plantation owner/guard to let you in as part of the trail cut into the oil plan plantation. Follow sg pelepah kiri upstream and eventually you end up at a disused mining camp.

IMO, its best that you get someone to lead you there as part of the trail is quite tricky. If you insist on on going there on your own i try to provide you as mouch info as i can.

    cheers

    Hi Shaqstudio,

I would like to go for an overnight trip to Pelepah as well? Could you advise on how you did it? Is there any permit required to climb?

    Thank you!

    Regards,
    Jet

@shaqstudio - did you have to get a permit, or something like that? or just have to talk to the plantation owner?
