Ah, great idea Graham. Normally, for our trips, we have this first aid kit bag, then wrap it up again with zip lock! :P

I guess your solution would be great. Wet panadol doesn't sound like a good sight when you are having a headache at the top of a mountain :P

Well, my first aid kit is a clear plastic box bought from beach road instead of using the soft bag like what Deuter sells. This is because with the plastic box, the panadols and the charcoal pills will not be squashed and pancaked.

During rough hiking trips, sometimes the medicine foil gets torn and water may seep in and soil your pills. With an air tight box, your pills are safe.

Although the box is heavier, I feel that it is worth its weight since the times when you need to use the contents are times of emergency. You do not want to carry the panadol all the way only to find that when you have a headache, you only have wet panadol!!!
