Tiger Airways to fly to China from April
Just two days ago, ChannelNewsAsia.com reported that Tiger Airways will be flying to parts of Southern China starting this April! Well, that is great news for trekkers like myself because we will now have another destination to fly cheaply to!

China is a beautiful place - I’ve heard of the really scenic mountains there, especially the mountains in Yunnan. Here is an account of someone who has been to Yunnan for some wedding celebrations followed by some treks.
The Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia) in Lijiang, Yunnan is one of the world’s most famous and spectacular gorges! According to what I have found, the gorge stretches over 16 kilometers along the Yangtze river. Here are some photos of the gorge. Whew. Nice!

Will Tiger Airways necessarily the cheapest? Hmm… Also, they might have certain conditions. But if you can get there cheaply, why not?! Sounds fun! It’ll be a refreshing change from always hearing about M’sia & Indonesia, where S’poreans like to go.

Well, I hope it would be the cheapest! Haha.. that’s why they call it a budget airline, right? Haven’t really been doing any research these few days cos of my school work. Argh. ;P
