Mount Kinabalu in June - Rough Itinerary
Over the past two days, Ivy has worked out an itinerary for our Sabah trip in June! The trip will include climbing Mount Kinabalu, white water rafting, visiting the poring hot springs, and even an basic open water course (SSI)!
Here is the rough itinerary! Sounds great!

Day 3

Descend to Laban Rata for breakfast, and descend

Day 9

Day 10
Return flight to Senai Airport
As you can see from the itenerary, we are intending to spend a total of ten days in Sabah! That’s quite a long time, considering the trek only takes up two days of the whole stay, and we will be staying on the mountain for only one night! We all opted for a “relax” schedule - we really want to go and enjoy the holiday, rather than make it a “challenge” trek.
I think this is important - to have a consensus among the team members to how challenging you want the trip to be. Some people (like myself) would rather spend a little more money to stay at the place longer, and really enjoy the holiday. Others will rather save the money and make a quick trip up and down the mountain. Establishing and agreeing on this will save any unhappiness during the trip itself!
